PhDr. Eva Chalupová, PhD (41)
Position: Club Secretary, Head Coach
Does all the background paper work and communication of the club. Supervises coaches, helps them to prepare training plans, gives feedback to their work, helps with communication with the parents.
Coaching background: 1st class swimming coach qualification of the Czech Swimming Federation (the highest possible), has been coaching since she was 18 years old – swimming for triathletes of all ages (was one of the founders of Etriatlon.cz) and swimming in Prague Sharks which she founded in 2005.
Swimming experiences: Was swimming in Bižuterie Jablonec since 8 years old, attended Sport High School at Jablonec, did underwater swimming (the one with the monofin) for one year at Liberec. Has 6 gold medals from Czech Nationals in Junior Categories (50 FC and relays), was many times Czech Champion and member of the Czech Team in Pool Life Saving Sport.
Education: Master degree in Sport Sciences (specialization Swimming Coaching), PhD in Sport Psychology at Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University in Prague, Master degree in Clinical Psychology at Philosophical Faculty of Charles University in Prague (Erasmus exchange student at University of Glamorgan, Cardiff, UK, awarded summer fellowship at Albert Ellis Institute, NY, USA)
Occupation: Home with 3 little kids (6,4,2), but still working as a Sport Psychologist, teaching Sport Psychology courses for coaches at Charles University, writing for sport magazines and working for Prague Sharks
Hobbies: Prague Sharks… and swimming, running, bike, skiing, climbing the mountains and reading scientific books about parenting and coaching (and more or less successful practical application on her own and others´ children😊)

Jakub Gabriel Jiroušek (21)
Position: Sharks group coach
Coaching background: 3rd class swimming coach qualification of the Czech Swimming Federation, one year assistant coach at Sanford Squids Swimming Club, Carolina, USA
Swimming experiences: swam in Prague Clubs till 20 years old, swam for one year at Sanford Squids Swimming Club, Carolina, USA
Education/Occupation: 2nd year student of Sport Sciences (specialization Swimming Coaching) at Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University in Prague
Iida Huiskonen (23)
Position: Sharks group head coach
Coaching background: Coaching 12-15-year-olds for 2 years, up to 7 times a week in Finland at Cetus Espoo (the biggest and most successful swimming club in Finland). Also giving swimming lessons to younger kids (4-11-year-olds), as well as giving technique training to adults, both individual lessons and group lessons with up to 40 participants.
Swimming experiences: Was training competitively at a high level for 10 years in Finland (one year in Germany in between), also achieving medals at the Finnish championships. Best disciplines: 50m back – 29.3, 100m back – 1:03.8, 200m back – 2:17.1, 50m free – 26.8, 100m free – 56.9, 200m free – 2:04.5.
Education: Elementary school (Tokyo International School, Japan; Tähtiniityn Ala-aste, Finland), High School (Gymnasium Fabritianum, Germany; Etelä-Tapiolan Lukio, Finland), B.Sc in International Business Administration at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, The Netherlands (Exchange semester at Chinese University Hong Kong, Shenzhen, China)
Occupation: Supply Chain and Operations (Product Fulfilment Analyst) at HP Inc. Prague
Hobbies: Gym, coaching, travelling, swimming, reading, learning languages, ...

Eva Novotná (36)
Position: Octopus and Stingrays group coach
Coaching background: 3rd class swimming teacher qualification of the Czech Association of Swimming Schools, has been teaching swimming in our club for one year and for different swimming schools for 5 years, long time member and instructor of Water Life Saving Association (member of Czech Red Cross), also experienced skiing instructor
Education: Master degree in Sport Sciences at Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University in Prague, Bc. Degree for Rescue Services
Occupation: home with two children (5,2), swimming and skiing coach, wants to start to work as a paramedic
Zuzana Lorencová (30)
Position: Dolphins and Adults group coach
Coaching background: 3rd class swimming coach qualification of the Czech Swimming Federation, has been coaching for our club for three years
Education: Master degree in Sport Sciences at Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University in Prague
Occupation: swimming and gymnastics coach
Kateřina Janovská (36)
Position: Adults group coach
Coaching background: 3rd class triathlon coach qualification of the Czech Triathlon Federation, has been coaching kids in swimming and triathlon since 17 years old, writes training plans, goes to camps and competitions
Swimming/sport experiences: swims from childhood, attended Sports School Emila Zátopka at Zlín, participated at Czech Nationals. Hobby triathlete – her best result is third place in Ironman 70.3. in 2015.
Occupation: home with two children, swimming and triathlon coach of kids and adults
Hobbies: hobby sport of all kinds, nature, mountains, walking with the camera
Motto: “Anything is possible!”
Karim Al Reyahi (23)
Position: Dolphins and Sharks group assistant coach
Coaching background: 3rd class swimming coach qualification of the Czech Swimming Federation, have been coaching children aged 7-11 for 3 years, 1 year in Praguesharks, I was a coach of Sharks, Dolphins and Adults group.
Swimming/sport experiences: Competitive swimmer until the age of 18, multiple medalist from junior Czech national swimming championships. Best disciplines: 200 backstroke - 2:05.7 , 400 IM – 4:33, 400 freestyle – 4:03.6
Education: Bachelor of science degree from Czech Technical University in Prague, Cybernetics and robotics, attended Erasmus+ exchange programme in Newcastle upon Tyne (UK) for 1 semester.
Occupation: Currently studying Master of Science degree at the CTU in Prague in Cybernetics and robotics – Systems and control, part time lifeguard
Hobbies: swimming, football, beach volleyball, electronics, travelling
Motto: “You have to be pretty driven to make it happen. Otherwise, you will just make yourself miserable.”
